Education in Morgan County

 Morgan County schools have combined the old-fashioned virtues of hard work and civic pride with the 21st century tools of instructional technology, innovative use of time and an internationaly recognized curriculum. The system's International Baccalaureate Program and its Math and Science Academy prepare students for success in the global marketplace. Its dual enrollment programs with DeKalb Technical College prepare those graduates for success in a variety of technical, manufacturing and allied health fields. This focus on the future has resulted in a four year graduation rate of 85%, one of the highest in the State.
Total enrollment for 2006-2007 is 3342 students with an average student teacher ratio of 14:1.
